Misdirected

I went to Tutong yesterday to get to know my way round to my new office - yup people, i'm finally getting transferred out of HQ to the Tutong office. I'm rather glad and a bit deflated all at the same time, the previous due to the fact that Tutong is not as far as KB and Temburong and so will not strain my wallet commuting everyday and the latter because I was rather looking forward to Temburong for its beautiful greenery and less burdensome work compared to the rest of the districts~

So of course, me being ME, I managed to get misdirected a few times heheheh. But having found myself nowhere near my target destination i.e. Kompleks Bangunan-Bangunan Kerajaan Daerah Tutong, I tried to make the best of the situation - which is why I found myself...

...here...
Tasek Merimbun - which is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy off the route I'm supposed to take...

This is actually a more breath-taking view than what my mobile camera can come up with,
the feeling of looking at that beautiful piece of nature's art is just awesome...

....and here...
Pantai Seri Kenangan - its a lovely place to spend your free time with your loved ones....

.... this is the other side of the spit, Sungai Tutong, damn scary with its deep waters....

....finally here! I found the office building at last and on the way a couple of routes I can take to get there. I did some shopping at HuaHo Petani Mall Tutong seeing as I was already there.

And so it has been an eventful half-day trip for me. Moral of the story: It's okay to take a few detours/be misdirected in your journey, otherwise you could have never discovered the few lovely surprises the straight and direct path would never have shown you~

P.S. For those who didn't know me well, "Misdirected = Lost", but I prefer the the previous~

Hanging Out with The Gang

Hahaha~ the title seems ominous - rather like a meet up of a mafia mob~ But that's what we called our association of close friends since high school. Its really hard to meet up with the whole gang, usually we can only gather up to just the 4 of us. Nas is the most elusive one of all of us - I used to be one of them but now that I have my own transport, its easier to meet up. So here's some of the pics that I've decided to post for the sake of Sha who unfortunately can't access Facebook due to the crappy law of that communist country she's at currently~

While I'm at it, here's one of pics I've taken with my Instax Mini 25. It's not high quality, after all what could you expect of a camera based on the classic Polaroid which captures images based on the amount of light it manages to reflect... and at this point I already expect you guys to just jump straight to the pics rather than read the technical aspect of photography the old way~

My bro and his ex-girlfriend~
who is currently his wife heheheh~

There's actually a bunch of other pics of the previous hang out I've taken using my Mini 25 but Nas has them at the moment since she's supposed to scan them and send the images later. But I've yet to hear from her on that. I'll give her a few days more before hounding her ass~

And to wrap it all up, check out the Drama Beans link I've put up on the right sidebar. It's where I get all my info on the latest Korean entertainment new including the latest have-to-watch drama.

Atoooo batah!~~

Salam sejahtera bagi smua yang berkesempatan membaca blog ani~ Heheheh its been a while since i've last updated. Not busy exactly, more like no mood to write anything. A few things happened while I was away from blogging:

  • My 3rd oldest brother got married~ Now I officially have another sister~ Yay~
  • I passed all of my four civil service exams! Another Yay for me! Soon I'll be dropping the 'T' on my position title - wohoo! (I never did have a liking for that 'T')
  • I've celebrated my Silver Jubilee last month - not sure about that one. Am I happy? Yes I am, but somehow it doesn't feel like I've achieved anything major in of my life yet and I'm already a quarter of a century old... Hmm, I guess I need to work on that~
  • I... have... in... my... posession... a 'Samsung Corby Pro'!!!!! Finally!! I had to wait for the second shipment to come since I was being so wishy washy about whether to buy one for over a month that they ran out of stock. But I'm glad I've waited since I got to have the white one which I've always wanted rather than the red that they only had in stock then. See - good things come to those who wait~
  • I also have a new camera!! Its Fujifilm Instax Mini 25 - which is so much cooler than the 7S model which I had been eyeing since I saw it on the Korean drama 'You're Beautiful' - which I must add is a total fluff goodness for those who wanted to just sit back and enjoy rather than go through the emotional wringer of the usual tear-jerker that most Koreans directors are serving nowadays. I also recommend 'Wishing Upon a Star' - the first couple of episodes didn't really get me interested but I guarantee the rest will get you hooked!

The Mini 25 - a more compact and cuter version

The 7S model

  • I was supposed to be in my third month in another Department/Ministry but I guess them bosses love us so much it was decided that we newbies are to extend our attachment in our own Department for another three month~
And so now that y'all are up to speed on the latest news, I just wanna wish you people

heheheh it's a bit late, I know but I forgot to post it during the actual day and since I went and got this made already, why not?~
